| Comment | First bus put night buses back on and nobody is using them. Why would Scotrail go to the expense and logistical challenge of operating railway until that time when nobody is using the current mass transit options.
It’s not just a train and driver you need. It’s signalling staff, controllers etc. then you’d need central open until that time as well. Even more staff from multiple organisations.
Lots of people drive to train stations or use buses for last mile transport, so railway is less effective for the late night economy. |
