£80 for that journey is a shambles. Heard so many horror stories recently about rip off fares. I’m convinced it’s the drivers who know they are bailing out come June behaving like that and not caring what state they leave their industry in.
If I was in charge at the council I’d give taxis another 1 year grace period on the basis that there is a vehicle shortage and they lost two years with covid. |
