| Comment | I was never a wealthy foreign student. it's wild you would just assume that all international students come from wealth. many of us came over on scholarship or on loans or both.
we pay a health surcharge and if we work, we pay national insurance on top of that. and we don't get access to public funds, so if we struggle there's no help available. this is the same for many types of visas.
wild to assume this and say they should pay council tax when they already pay astronomical tuition fees. |
