Lived here a bit over a year. It's fine. Like every place it's got it's good and slightly less good. I've never felt unsafe walking about. And it somehow has one of the best health centres I've ever dealt with. Sure it would be nicer to afford to live on the other side of the gentrified bridge (train station) and into New lands/Shawlands, but it's nae bad and it's nice to be a 10 min walk from a Highland coo.
