I'm sorry mate, unfortunately it turned out for us our landlord wanted to sell (to free up cash to purchase a hotel I believe) they did very kindly offer us the house at home report value. However it was when the market was insane so it was still just too pricey for us. If you're in the position to do this and it happens you could ask the same.
