| Comment | Of course it exists, but only in Scotland is there an arbitrary number that dictates the value of the house, rather than the actual market dictating that. It's one of the main reasons I'm probably not going to settle in this country. I'm ready to buy now so I've looked into it both in Scotland and at home and I have a much better chance at home - albeit with a lengthier process. |
