I get that train multiple times per year between uni, work, and trips home, and have had some with sockets below the seat, some in the window wall, but mostly I try to get a table as they're almost always guaranteed there. Or the seats closest to the automatic doors between carriages (usually next to the luggage rack are the ones more likely to have a plug socket).

All that said, you might get lucky, you might not. Plan for not having one (get a power bank or something just in case. Worst case you've spent a tenner for nothing, best case it gets used while you're on the train). |
