3, 4 maybe? I imagine fighting a whole person who wants to eat you no matter the cost would be difficult.
Even if you killed 5 zombies a day on Arran it would take you 3 years to rid the island of its 5000 strong population, assuming they're all zombies of course.
Maybe a gun, or a few pals would help, but not by much. The seas are also regularly rough as fuck, fine for a well maintained ferry to navigate but what are you planning on doing boat runs in? A wee speedboat? Sounds disastrous, you'd be at the bottom of the firth before a zombie killed you.
