I wish more people would stand up to this and make a point of asking for 'discretionary' tips to be taken off the bill. There is, fortunately, for now at least, a higher tendency in Glasgow for people to do this compared to places like London. However, it requires all of us to stand up to the bullshit and stop it becoming normal.
