I'd much prefer that for myself and for their staff. The staff will know how much they're earning for certain each shift without the mystery of whether or not they're going to get enough tips on certain days. I just don't think the responsibility should fall to the customer to keep a business afloat by paying a percentage of the staffs wage if the owner is trading beyond its means rather than cutting overheads elswhere. |
