| Comment | If you are using a voucher and taking advantage of an offer you should still tip a percentage of the full cost of the meal. I'm not saying it had to be 10% but if you were happy with the food and the service was good and would tip anyway then it should be based on the full cost of the meal before the voucher or discount is applied.
If 10% is automatically added I always ask if it goes to the server. Yes is fine, if it is a no then I would ask for it be removed. Did this in the Ivy when it opened. |
