Yup, the amount of cars, and stupidly big ones at that, is absurd. Glasgow is a fairly walkable city, and public transport is slightly less good than average.
Thankfully there seems to be a move to make the city more people-friendly. It might take a while to manifest but hopefully it’ll drive down the number of cars in the city.
