With the same amount of manpower, adding another distinct waste stream simply will not work. Given there physically isn't any space in the bin store (already four green, four blue) for another wheelie bin, I suspect the plan is to take away two of the existing blue bins, and maybe we get two light blue / dark blue / teal / aqua / navy blue bins, solely for plastic/metal?
The funny thing is that it seems the only way to get rid of recycling quickly, is to put in the green bins, which *do* seem to get collected, mostly on the specified date. |
