I think you misunderstand. We are talking about two different things. One is the queue for people who could not purchase tickets prior to arrival and therefore must do so. Separate from that there are people who have some form of ticket who go to the gates to exit and have tickets that don’t work and need the attendant to open said gate. Two entirely different groups of people. I agree it is strange that 30+ people on my morning train have malfunctioning tickets when I have never had one in a decade. This is why I asked the question. |
