| Comment | Safety is a concern at any large gathering event. It's just a matter of using common sense. Stay in the open public areas, avoid getting too close to loud drunk groups, don't stick out like a sore thumb. Same rules as anywhere else.
Beyond that you're really unlikely to get into trouble at the game.
The only way I can realistically see you potentially getting into bother is if you wander into the wrong neighbourhood wearing the wrong teams colours.
Some parts of the city would be considered a "rangers area" or "celtic area" so to speak. Naturally any area defined by its collective choice of team colour is going to be a shite hole, and the kind of place you wouldn't want to go against the grain when tensions are high like just after a match. |
