| Comment | It's just an excuse. Anti-cyclist dogma was around way before delivery services ever were. Always the same old tired patter about 'road tax', insurance, running red lights etc. The simple fact is a lot of people when driving have the attitude that roads are for cars and cyclists are 'in my way'. They resent having to look out for vulnerable road users, cyclists and pedestrians alike who represent outgroups that they don't want to have to deal with, and who are easy to dehumanise/demonise. It's really that simple. |
