For whisky (no-one has called it scotch here since about 1973) there are 2 main pubs with hundreds to choose from each: The Pot Still and The Bon Accord.
The Pot Still is in the city centre, The Bon Accord is not far from Kelvingrove Park where I think some of the cycling (trials?) is taking place.
