Had an interesting conversation with an estate agent recently.
He said that quite a lot of savvy people sold in the last year but rented instead of buying straight away in case there was a crash.
The thinking being that if they waited they could get something in a more desirable area without the massive offers over payment.
All that’s happened though is that in the desirable areas you’re back to normal demand with this pent-up demand on top of it which is still causing the massive offers over that people were trying to avoid. |
