The team that comes up are very efficient and work hard not to delay anyone. The first strike naturally had problems til it was figured out.
Now the only problems is the “handover” when the GLA staff finish and contingency staff start and vice Versa. They effectively close the airport during this time. All security points close briefly and no aircraft are allowed to move/start engines while the fire fighters carry out their handover.
Unless you’re going through at the handover time you should be okay. |
