| Comment | Network Rail have hiked the rents on their railway arches all over the UK, displaying a total lack of support for the small business they're renting to.
There was a push a few years back to regenerate the Osborne Street arches but it made very little difference to the area since Network Rail also rented to The Empire Bar, The Lampost, Spirit, and a couple of other pubs ran solely for the purpose of servicing alcoholics (or the mythical shift workers that GCC says kick about hoaching for a pint and day-old sausage roll at 8am). |
