You’re missing my point ! Iam not claiming that it’s not harder for SOME people of colour. Asian people thrive and are amongst some of the highest achievers and richest people in the world do they have privilege also ? Listen all am saying is when people say white privilege really bugs me cause me and people I know ain’t ever had that. I’ve been beatin by the police as a teenager growing up cause I was a “ned” from a rough part of the city. More then once btw ! You ever had a police officer with his knee on the back of your neck all the way to the police station in a foot well of a car ? All because a guy punched me first and I stuck up for myself. So please don’t tell me about misunderstanding and privilege. Am not learning about nothing. I agree most people are decent folks. Just because you grew up privileged or had better opportunities doesn’t mean we all did. |
