| Comment | No doubt people who have been on the housing ladder for years have amassed a eye watering amount of equity, but it’s the people coming in (first time buyers)and walloping any person straight out of the water with 40k hanging out their back pocket ( no doubt from mummy and daddy) that really pisses me off! Housing developers have caught on and are marketing new builds for under market values in order to keep selling. At this point in the game I would not even attempt to participate in a bidding war, esp in areas where heavy gentrification is taking place thanks to people coming into Glasgow from really wealthy backgrounds looking to splash thier money about, pushing well paid Glaswegians out of the very areas they were brought up in ! …. Sorry rant over 😜 |
