| Comment | I see councillor Christy Mearns has waged war on them. She goes about photographing the registration numbers of workmen parked illegally, but she is also trying to get more and more parking spaces removed. For example, when there was work going on in the old Borders building, a couple of guys had parked their vans in Royal Exchange Square. Not only did she report them, but she then tries to get bollards erected to stop it happening. I genuinely don't understand how tools and equipment are meant to get delivered and dropped off in city centre works sites when there is a constant drive to make it more and more inaccessible to vehicles. |
