One problem that you can have in large indoor areas like this, and I’ve encountered this is Pets at Home before, is that my dog will often take his cues from other dogs in this environment.

I’ve had my dog, who never pisses inside, lift his leg while walking around Pets at Home because other dogs have done that in the past and he must be picking up on that and trying to mark his territory. I can imagine him doing the same thing inside a shopping centre.

Since these big indoor areas don’t really feel like ‘inside’ in a normal sense, I think a lot of normally well behaved dogs can get confused.
