| Comment | That said, I've yet to see a police car give way when turning left, from the position the photo above was taken from. We could really use a massive campaign of painting lines on the ground at junctions to indicate a crossing point, like you see abroad. The rare times I drive I would appreciate the reminder as well. I've forgotten to give way a couple of times since the rules changed when the pedestrian was still on the pavement and been annoyed at myself after. As I said elsewhere, none of us wants to kill someone. |
