| Comment | honestly, i see so much shitty driving in glasgow. running red lights, running through orange, on the phone while driving, parking in cycle lanes, stopping on pedestrian crossings and such. it's getting to the point where i don't feel safe driving, i don't feel safe on my bike and i don't feel safe walking. given this is what a really busy crossing in glasgow often looks like, it's no wonder people don't wanna walk or cycle here. \[Imgur\]([https://i.imgur.com/HzcKRCw.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/HzcKRCw.jpg))
and before anyone see's that i cycle and starts saying "well what about?" i wait at red lights and have been nearly ran over because of it (taxi driver wanted to run the red light while i was in the bike box), i usually try sticking to the cycle lanes but it's easier said than done when there's always a car parked in in (howard street comes to mind but i even seen a jaguar driving down the garscube road cycle lane before christmas) i wear a reflective jacket and have lights on my bike. those are the common criticisms i see towards cyclists on here from motorists. |
