| Comment | That would completely tank the city centre. Drive businesses out of it, reduce footfall and finish off many small businesses that rely on workers for lunchtime trade etc. Mon-Fri. Plenty of workers in the city centre require a car to carry out part of their job on a daily basis. Ban cars and those businesses have no option but to move out.
Without buses in the city centre how are shoppers meant to get there and get home with their purchases? Walk in the pishing rain with everything they bought to get outwith city centre limits to catch a bus? |
