| Comment | Im a cyclist and the two dangerous things about it pertaining to pedestrians, cyclists are almost silent- no tyre or engine noise, yes we have bells but we ain’t ringing them constantly secondly and it ties in with the first - pedestrians assume it’s safe to cross in between stopped traffic “cars are static, it’s safe to cross” boom hit by a silent filtering cyclist who’s not expecting a pedestrian in the middle of the road.
No one is perfect but we all need to do better. If police Scotland accepted video evidence from the public like they do in London folks might actually start behaving better. |
