I moved here from the US and am constantly surprised how anti-pedestrian drivers are here - and that’s compared to the US where we’re car crazy. I’ve had cars accelerate to intimidate me when I’m crossing areas where there is no marked crosswalk but there’s no other crossing available. People forget that they’re driving heavy machinery that can kill once they get behind the wheel.
