The cuts are shite.

There are other ways to raise revenue. We should be introducing a tourist/city tax like most sensible places already do. Couple of quid per day. Has to raise a decent amount without being a vote loser. Hard to get exact numbers but Visit Scotland state we had 150 million tourists in 2019. A few extra quid from each of them generates a decent pot of cash that should be ringfenced for public services
