Comment | He's making reference to the World Economic Forum's recent discussion about the widespread ownership of cars and how this is a 'problem to be tackled' in regards to global warming, and from that he is inferring that the recent increase in posts is as a result of astroturfed political opinions to shape public discourse. While I don't think this is the case here (because honestly who really gives a fuck about what r/glasgow thinks) it's not exactly a massive conspiracy because fake accounts and manufactured discussion is a common political tactic in the 21st century, so I wouldn't be so quick to discount it as nonsense babble. |
