Comment	I think you can get excused if you have a holiday booked as well? Maybe book something refundable, like a hotel on booking.com as proof. Also, if you do jury duty once they can't call you again - if it's the sheriff's court it's worth going just for that, but if it's the other one that's for like serious criminal offences and might be the ones that drag on for days.
