I worked with a charity who led innovative ways to plant trees in cities. In glasgow we’ve got sites across the city, glasgow green, govan, maxwell park, easterhouse to name a few.

These [Wee Forests](https://www.nature.scot/climate-change/nature-based-solutions/wee-forests-part-tinyforest-global-family) are suitable for tiny (clues in the name) patches of land such as roundabouts and grass verges and are designed to get school kids and families involved in nature and the environments. Costs approx £25k per site but this can be matched/subsidised by community funding, government grants, corporate sponsorships, and charitable donations which brings the price way down.

All we need is communities with land available and a willing bunch of folks who might want to be part of a project!
