So I think that there is policy currently and currently in debate about government assistance for maintainance of tenement buildings.
The cost is astronomical to the average homeowner- but if we want to maintain our built heritage/housing stock it HAS to be done or we will see more emergency situations arising.
Camphill residents are interesting as they’re one of the first to group together and tackle this head on.
What they’ve done is admirable and a great prototype for those in the same situation. |
