There are no unlit streets in and around Glasgow. There is no excuse possible for colliding with and killing a pedestrian.
The law was changed last year to allow the consideration of a whole life term for those convicted after such incidents. I hope to see the day soon when this punishment is handed down.
I witnessed the aftermath of the death of the student at Charing Cross recently. The car involved was pulverised. What fucking speed was the driver doing and in a 30 zone? Glad to see the driver was arrested at the scene. |
