It’s common sense really. When in the city centre drive no more than the speed limit which is normally 20mph. Rarely do you see any cars driving at less than or equal to 20mph when that is the stated limit. If you approach a zone where there are lots of pedestrians then slow down even more. Do not use a mobile phone and scan the pavements at all times. As stated in the Highway Code do not proceed on the road unless clear and safe to do so. |
