And just to be really really clear here - the leader has resigned but the party is still in power. The problem is that some people think that modern democracy actually is some sort of “leader rules by decree” thing and that anything will actually change, which it won’t, because the political landscape hasn’t changed at all.
This isn’t celebrating the Conservatives/Labour/etc losing power, this is celebrating an administrative change. Absolutely mind boggling. |
