| Comment | Tired of fighting or finished fighting? Are there any other legal battles the gay community are yet to conquer in the UK? Most gay folk, especially those 30 years or older, are now content that they are equal citizens in all respects to their straight counterparts. I think the general feeling is that most LGBT activism these days is simply lip service. If LGBT activists truly prioritised the problems facing their community they will they would be fighting for rights in Africa and the Middle East. I think this creates a bad taste in a lot of older folk in the community’s mouths. |
