Comment | I’m quite sure if this is legit and you have medical records to show this then you have nothing to fear from your employer . Take notes on any conversation you have regarding it with dates and times . They will come in useful in any constructive dismissal case you may need to bring against them .
Bars , restaurants etc are a different kettle of fish but you could politely say you don’t appreciate being discriminated against due to your Ill health and the measures you need to take .
I’d imagine a quiet word with any establishments you enter and ask if they would prefer you use the staff smoking area rather than at the front door would go a long way . |
