The bus operators have been guinea pigging LEZ for years. As far back as 2017 a percentage of their city centre operations had to comply and it gradually increased each year. Pretty much all of their fleet is now compliant either through Euro 6 vehicles from the factory or aftermarket modifications.
It’s partly the reason why so much of the competition has disappeared too. The smaller operators couldn’t afford the investments required to be compliant. |
