An issue with a single window was discovered after Xmas break. They decided to close the whole building to check it it was an isolated issue or a manufacturing fault potentially affecting every window in the building.
Basement and ground floor are back in because there’s hardly any windows and they’ve been cleared as safe (reception and library remain closed) but I’ve heard the college may not open the upper floors again this year. I don’t know for sure.
It sucks but it is what it is. Someone being injured/killed because they ignored this would be much worse. |
