Dozens and dozens of photos of British supermarkets which, before Brexit proper, in my lifetime and I’m in my mid 50s, I have never ever seen empty are now empty. Of course,in the new fucked up normal for crazy island, this is no big thing, but when you meet your friends in Germany and they ask you, incredulous, about no eggs on the shelves before you realise it’s even a thing yourself, you know your once great nation is in trouble.
