| Comment | A friend of mine took a relatively senior position at Glasgow uni where for one reason or another she sees all the complaints about folk. Basically said there are about 3 non-complete-bastard professors in the entire medical school, it seems.
Some pretty wild shit, and what's striking is less stuff that's say illegal or immoral, just *dickish*.
One pair of bois, they basically made a PhD students life hell so they packed it in and they could give funding to someone else they really liked.
One professor just takes it as *read* that you spend a year after your PhD working for free. Doesn't even aim to complete it in the time you're funded for.
