| Comment | I visited home in Manchester last weekend. It went through a similar transformation over the last 10-15 years, extending its limited central tram network out to the various suburbs and satellite towns. It's a really great system and a definite improvement on what there used to be. Would love to see it come to pass here (and would especially love to see a tram line through Rutherglen, the bus links to Glasgow are rotten cause of the traffic). |
