Have commuted to Edinburgh on and off for years. You don’t realise the impact it has on you until you’ve been eating your dinner later and getting up earlier for a few months. Knock on impact is huge as well, staying late an hour in the office becomes a colossal pain in the arse.
If its a necessity then yeah you can do it but it’s far from ideal in my experience.
