| Comment | You might be already, but only phone when you want to book a viewing - with how it currently is, emails are too slow. I had notifications from the major sites come through to my email, then I had my email notifications come through to my phone so I saw as soon as things got listed (although some of the sites do seem to have a delay on sending out the update emails). Then I would phone as soon as I saw it. But this is just to get viewings/be higher up on the viewing list (I read sometimes it is - first come, first served). Also, as soon as you have viewed a place, phone the agency immediately to say you would like to take it, then send them any information they require immediately.
You might already be doing all of this but I just thought I would mention it in case it is of any help at all. I know how stressful it is - good luck!! (also - another good website is OpenRent which is all private landlords instead of agencies). |
