| Comment | I had to live in Largs for a year or so a wee while back. I’m previously from a town with absolutely nothing going on and I (a mid 30s woman) found Largs incredibly boring. It’s pretty in the summer but absolutely nothing happening there, very cliquey. Not worse than any other small town I suppose but I wouldn’t recommend it. Transport also a nightmare - trains cancelled through the winter for leaves on the line and in the summer because the track was too hot?!
All that said, I work with a lady who lives just outside of Largs and she doesn’t seem too bothered by the commute - as long as you’re working in the west part of the city |
