| Comment | 1) I'm at the east end campus(near parkhead), and yeah, the facilities are very dated, teachers have been mostly great, one or two who are clearly near retirement and dont care anymore, but mostly the standard of teaching has been great. Environment wise isn't the greatest, other then my class and a few others the east end campus is mostly used for technical courses(wood cutting ext) and hair and beauty, most very young people straight from school. Plenty of neds, unfortunately, a large amount of sectarian graffiti all over the toilets eext.
2) Yes, massively helped. Although even the top wack bursary isn't enough to live on, if you're anything similar to me, you'll need to work around it to survive.
3) as its a swap course I'm on, they are very understanding and supportive when it comes to having to work, childcare issues, etc. Speak to them in advance, and you're sorted. |
