It gets complicated whenever you're talking about the former indpendent burghs that were incorporated into the City of Glasgow - Govan, Partick, Maryhill, Hillhead - as each of these has a separate historically wider definition distinct from (and confused with) their local usage today
There's no right answer to that, it isn't really reducible to a single level representation
