Not really. My main point is that there are too many cars in the city. It’s there for all to see. You can also see and hear the frustration. Just listen out for the constant horn pumping. That was never there before.
There are limited crossing points on the streets in Glasgow. Sauchiehall Street as an example has hardly any. The implementation of the Boulevard style 20mph zone is to make the area more pedestrian friendly. It hasn’t really worked that well.
Elsewhere in the city there are terrible hotspots for crossing difficulty like St Vincent Street and Place as well as North Street and Newton Street where a student was pulverised by a speeding driver a few weeks ago. |
